Slot drivers although not used in today’s instrumentation may be needed for older implant cases. They can also be used to retrieve a broken screw. The negative to slot drivers is that the blade thickness is very thin. Because of the thin blade, there is a maximum torque of 20Ncm that can be applied to the tip before the potential of breakage.

ITL Dental has received certification for the new EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR). The certification covers products classified as Class 2a and 2b.

The CE mark indicates that the ITL Dental medical devices meet the General Safety and Performance requirements under the MDR 2017/745.

We have made a couple of changes to our order acceptance procedure.

1] Orders received after 12 noon cannot be guaranteed same day shipment.

2] Orders of 200 implants or more may require a minimum of 2 working days for preparation before shipping.

We will continue to strive to offer the quickest delivery possible but we cannot always honor the requested delivery time.

Instruction manuals for the OLS and MLS Overdenture Systems are now available to download or read under the Printable Literature section of the ITL Dental web site.

CERVICAL CONTOURED PARTS

Fixture Mount – Available with or without cervical contoured design. For cervical contoured fixture mount, the implant product code ends in an “A.” For example, IH3210A. Cervical contoured fixture mounts are available with NP or WP threaded implants.

Healing Caps – Cervical contoured healing caps are available in the 40XX, 50XX series and the 6030, 6040 and 6050 sizes. For cervical contoured healing caps, delete the S at the end of the product code.

Abutments – Straight and Angled cervical contoured abutments are available. Please see page 28CC in the Implant Catalog located at www.itldental.com under Our Products.

3.2mm, 3.7mm and 4.2mm diameter implants come with a 3.5mm platform. The 4.7mm and 5.2mm diameter implants come in a 4.5mm or 3.5mm platform for those who prefer one platform. The 5.7mm diameter implant has a 5.7mm platform.

ITL Dental has received a Class 3 License to sell its Implant System in Canada. All of ITL’s products now have licenses for sale in Canada.

ITL Dental announces the appointment of EUCEREP, Roald Dahllaan 33, 5629MC Eindhoven, The Netherlands as our EU Representative as of June 10, 2020. EUCEREP replaces HealthLink Europe Services BV who has discontinued being an EU Representative.

The 6.5mm length shaft allows easier access to the posterior region for screw tightening. Short length latch style drivers are now available for the .050 hex, 2.5mm hex, 3.0mm hex, NobelBiocare, and ITI/Straumann.

ITL Dental Expands OEM Implant Lines

ITL Dental has introduced a line of HA coated wide pitch threaded implants in addition to the SBM surface treated wide pitch threaded implants and the narrow pitch threaded implants with the standard fixture mount or cervical contoured fixture mount.

The HA wide pitch implants have the cervical contoured fixture mount and are available in diameters 3.2, 3.7, 4.2, 4.7 and 5.2mm with 8, 10, 11.5, 13 and 16mm lengths.

The line of surgical drills has been expanded to include a 1.8mm Lindemann drill or 1.8mm twist drill as the pilot drill. The 2.3mm to 5.4mm drills have been redesigned so that the hub area of the drill is the same on all drills and accepts a push on drill stopper. Only 4 drill stopper sizes are needed that will fit all surgical drills. The drills can be reviewed on page 9 of the Implant Catalog, www.itldental.com.
